The saree attire is the perfect Indian dress that can embark on your presence. From traditional to modern, formal, sarees can give you any look that you ask for charm. But, it also requires special care of them based on fabric, embroidery, and pattern.

There is numerous fabric that requires special attention. Like, Bandhej, Cotton Mulmul/Linen, Gharchola, Handloom, and Kota Doria sarees.
Badhej Saree- Badhej is a soft fabric that requires attention. The best way to keep it evergreen by only doing dry cleaning. Remember, it must be placed at proper place with covered so its color does not get fade and not affect its length.
Cotton Mulmul- It is another fine weave, plain, and light-weighted form of cotton fabric. "Muslin" is another name, it's a very versatile woven cotton fabric, which is using in everyday life. First, Cotton Mulmul or Muslin is known in Europe. And in India this soft and fine weave of cotton, that was first made by Bengali weavers a century ago.
To take care of this soft fabric, need to follow the below guidance-
• Wash gently, and do not use any more scrub to clean.
• Preferable machine wash and hand wash using cold water.
• Always use gentle laundry detergent or any cleanser.
Handwork Sarees- As we all know, Handwork or embroidery sarees are more expensive than other woven sarees. And we are not often used to purchase, so need to take care of its work and color will maintain its shine.
• In six months of the gap, take them out of your wardrobe, and keep them in indirect or mild sunlight for a few hours.
• Do not forget to store them back. This would maintain their color and shine.
• Make sure you change the saree fold. This will prevent zari any other handwork from breakage.
• For washing, always prefer dry cleaning. Avoid using harsh detergent.
Kota Doria- Now, soon we will be going to enter in summer. This is the best season to wear this woven "Kota Doria". Apart from Cotton Mulmul, Kota Doria is also a soft textile fabric. While washing and maintaining need your care.
• Initially, give for dry cleaning, but if you are thinking to wash at home, then do a delicate hand wash with cold water, and with a mild detergent.
• Remember, after washing does not soak the saree for more than 10 minutes, it prevents color bleeding.
Silk Saree-
Silk sarees are one of the most premium types among saree fabric. It is weaved together from a protein fiber called the raw material of the silkworm cocoon. In silk sarees, it has a heavy pallu and base. Therefore, always try to wash them carefully.
• In the first three wash, avoid using soap.
• Use a mild detergent.
• Important, wash the pallu, border, and body separately.
